Groen Lint Oostende

The Groen Lint cycle route is a largely car-free cycle route that lets you discover the surprising area around Ostend. This route has new, 21st century parks such as the event park Nieuwe Koers with the Astropolis observatory, the innovative Gardens of Stene (De Tuinen van Stene) and the Oosteroeverduinen dunes with viewpoint De Halve Maan. You cycle through the Geuzenbos woods, past the Oostendse Kreken and nature reserve De Zwaanhoek and discover the transformation of the Oosteroever city district and the renovated sea front of Ostend, the City by the Sea.
