Bredene heritage walking route

This route will take you through the surprisingly varied landscape of the coastal hamlet of Bredene. Starting at the tourist information office, you'll pass by the fishermen's chapel, O.L.V. Ter Duinen, and local history museum the Turkeyenhof. The heart of this seaside resort has plenty of historical heritage, such as the free-standing Duinrust and 't Kapoentje villas. You can also take in the verdant vistas at the 't Paelsteenveld regional area, Raemaeckers Park, and Grasduinen Park. The path through the dunes of Bredene runs past the De Spioenkop pavilion and ends at the Staf Versluyscentrum.

The route is signposted and can be shortened to 6 km by taking the non-signposted section.
