Diksmuide heritage walking route

The heritage walking trail explores the historical centre of Diksmuide. The route takes you via the town park and the old post office building to other local highlights such as the Begijnhof and the Vismarkt, before your stroll takes you along the canal bank to the Ijzer. Then it’s down the shopping street back and to the Grote Markt. There are descriptive panels at 16 locations with additional information and illustrations about the town’s rich past. And to make sure you don’t lose your way, the route is signposted with studs along the ground.
