Lo city walk

The tiny town of Lo has grown up along a Roman road leading to the sea. The town flourished in the Middle Ages, under the powerful influence of the Abbey of Saint Peter. Although the monks are now long gone, their legacy can still be felt in the peaceful town in Belgian Westhoek. The city walk takes us past the most important witnesses of Lo’s military, economic and religious history – the gothic church of Saint Peter, the dovecotes, the west gates, the belfry... and many others.
