Nieuwpoort city walk

The trail takes you through the gloriously varied area around the seaside resort of Nieuwpoort with its stunning nature, exciting culture, remarkable history and numerous war sites. The trail starts at the King Albert I Memorial, where visitor centre ‘Westfront Nieuwpoort’ is situated. It inter alia runs along De Vismijn (fish auction hall), the Marina, Pet Farm De Lenspolder, the Stadshalle (former trading hall), cycle and hiking trail De Frontzate and brand new provincial domain “Koolhofput”. And wait till you hear the story of Jeanne Panne, Nieuwpoort’s most famous home-bred witch!
