The walking network connects 115 km of hiking trails throughout the green lung to the east of Bruges. Historic landscapes such as the Assebroek Meersen, Ryckevelde, the Beverhoutsveld, the Gemene and Loweiden, the valley of the ‘Zuidleie’ and Oedelemberg all form the attractive backdrop to this walking network.
Brugge and the villages of Steenbrugge, Ver-Assebroek, Moerbrugge, Sijsele and Oedelem anchor the network in the Bruges Hinterland region and form the gateway to the walking network.
